The uses of Camstudio

CamStudio is a open source screen recorder for Microsoft Windows. It is used for saving screen activity to an AVI file, with the option of having the AVI automatically converted into an SWF once the recording is finished.
It allows the user to make video recording of all screen activities on the user's computer as well as audio recordings using a microphone.

There are some of the advantages that contribute by using camstudio as a teaching material:

(1) Student can learn to use ICT more widely.
(2) Student can understand well what they suppose to do by using Camstudio, because a demonstrate is shown clearly.
(3) By using it, we can create demostration videos for any software program by just capturing.
(4) Teachers can create video tutorials for school and record a recurring problem with their computer.

Other than that, if you wanted to record yourself playing a round of Call of Duty on the computer, you could use Camstudio to record the match. If you start a recording, then draw a picture on paint, you can see what you did step by step. The nice thing about Camstudio as opposed to other programs is it's opensource. This is nice because it means it's free. Not only that, but if you know something about programming, you can download the source code and edit the program yourself for your own needs.
